Guard Richie Incognito has done all the right things since the bullying issue that got him suspended in 2013 and is now named a starter by Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan.

Ryan made the announcement last Sunday and along with Incognito, tackle Cordy Glenn and center Eric Wood were also named as starters.

"One thing for sure is Richie's a starter. I mean, he looks about as good as any of them. He really does," Ryan said according to ESPN.

He also praised the 32-year-old guard for the work he is doing in their training camp this offseason.

"He's everything we'd thought he would be. But he's even further along than I thought he'd be as far as coming back in shape and it's like he never missed any time," Ryan also said according to The Buffalo News.

Incognito last played a National Football League (NFL) game on Oct. 31, 2013 and was handed a suspension by the league when he was still with the Miami Dolphins due to a bullying issue that involved offensive lineman Jonathan Martin.

The suspension ended February 2014, although no team tried to sign the 32-year-old who was known before as the dirtiest player in the NFL.

But the Bills took the risk and Incognito is repaying the favor and looks to be an impact player for the team next season.

Incognito thanked the Bills for letting him join the team and be who he is, also thanking his teammates who welcomed him to their locker room.

"Now I am just trying to earn everyone's respect and make guys around me better," he added.

Meanwhile, Ryan said it is just all about giving people second chances, especially with the great work and effort Incognito is showing during the Bills training camp.

Incognito and the Bills will open their 2015 season at home against the Indianapolis Colts on Sept. 13.
