An inter-conference matchup of two teams trying to find consistency will take place today when the Boston Celtics continue a three-game road trip visiting the Memphis Grizzlies at the FedExForum.

The Celtics are currently riding a two-game losing streak following tough defeats to the Detroit Pistons and the Chicago Bulls.

In Thursday's loss to the Bulls, seven players from the Celtics scored in double-digits, but those seven were also the only ones who scored in the game in which a total of 10 players saw action.

Forward Jae Crowder was the leader for the Celtics as he tallied 17 points, also having four rebounds, four assists, three steals, and one block.

Following Crowder was center Kelly Olynyk who had 16 points, nine rebounds, and two assists.

Point guard Isaiah Thomas contributed 14, while center Jared Sullinger had a double-double 13 points with 11 rebounds, that came along with two assists, and one block.

Despite suffering back-to-back losses, Boston is still eighth in the Eastern Conference standings with a 19-17 record.

If the Celtics are coming off losses, the Grizzlies will go to today's game with momentum after defeating the Denver Nuggets last Friday.

Emerging for Memphis in the win was veteran big man Zach Randolph who had 24 points, six rebounds, one assist, and three blocks off the bench.

Forward Jeff Green was the second-leading scorer for the Grizzlies with 16 points, also listing nine rebounds, two assists, and one steal.

Another veteran in Matt Barnes shined as he contributed 15 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and one block.

The Grizzlies are now 20-18 and are on the sixth spot in the Western Conference standings, as the showdown with Boston is the second game of a six-game home stand.

The game between the Celtics and Grizzlies will be played today, January 10 at 6:00 p.m. EST and to watch via live stream, click here
