'Better Call Saul' season 3 spoilers: Bryan Cranston interested in cameo appearance

Bryan Cranston as Walter White AMC

"Better Call Saul" season 3 may still be a prequel to the "Breaking Bad" series but it is possible that Bryan Cranston's Walter White could make a cameo appearance. The actor has since confirmed that if series creator Vince GIlligan were to invite him in for a cameo role he would be completely open to fulfilling it.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Cranston sat down for an interview on "The Rich Eisen Show" in which he explained that the moment Vince would call he'd immediately say "yes" before they even finish their pitch, showcasing how much trust and gratitude he has for the people behind his success on "Breaking Bad."

"I owe Vince Gilligan so much," he explained. "I'll do whatever they want because I know how careful they are and proprietary they are with those characters and storylines and it wouldn't be something, 'Oh, isn't that kind of a stunt casting kind of thing.' It would be something kind of unique and obscure and creative, and I'm all in."

While no such call has yet happened, Cranston did confirm that he has been invited to direct an episode. He has not yet given an official response as he is hesitant to know too much. Cranston explains he is a big fan of "Better Call Saul" and while it might be a good experience to direct an episode it would also mean he'd be spoiled of future storylines.

Cranston also explained that despite being grateful and attached to both shows, he did not miss "Breaking Bad" and did not want it to just continue. The actor explained that this is all because Vince and his team of writers did a complete story with a beginning, middle and end and Cranston states that this gave him a sense of completion.

"Better Call Saul" season 3 will premiere in 2017.
