A new downloadable content (DLC) named Night Operations is now set to be released for "Battlefield 4."

As the name of the DLC itself would suggest, the new update will be bringing night-themed content to "Battlefield 4."

Most notably, players can look forward to the addition of a new nighttime map which will be called Zavod: Graveyard Shift. The new map is mostly based on Zavod 311, another map already in the game, with the main difference being that the Zavod: Graveyard Shift now changes things up a bit because of its darker setting, according to PC Gamer.

The new map will reportedly put more emphasis on the tactical and stealth aspects of gameplay in "Battlefield 4," and in order to really drive that point home to players, Zavod: Graveyard Shift will also feature better sounds and even light sources that can be destroyed. Spotting will also be different in the new map as players will now find that it is easier to flank opponents in this setting. Tools will also be shining in the darker setting so that players can spot them.

Zavod: Graveyard Shift will be fully capable of supporting all game modes available in "Battlefield 4," with an added bonus for Gun Master. According to Gamespot, Gun Master will play very differently under the cover of night and players will even be given access to a darker layout for this particular game mode. New weapons for nighttime-based Gun Master have also been provided.

As is the case with most types of DLC, Night Operations will also be providing several tweaks to "Battlefield 4." Players can expect changes being made to weapons and netcode improvements will also be implemented. A new team balancer for public servers is also coming out courtesy of Night Operations.

More details about the new DLC is expected to come out soon.

The Night Operations DLC for "Battlefield 4" will be released in September.
