A previous report stated that a Gamespot employee and a new PEGI rating had leaked the existence of an upcoming PS4 and Xbox One remaster of the first two "Batman Arkham" games. A new report issued by Geek Feed reveals leaked images of the remaster's box art, potential price and included DLC packages.
According to the report, the leaked image comes from an Imgur post. The image itself is a snapshot of an unidentified Italian magazine that confirms the game is launching for both the Xbox One and the PS4. The HD remasters only include "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and "Batman: Arkham City" but not the WB Montreal-developed "Batman: Arkham Origins."
However, the report states that translations of the magazine pages say the two games will come with all their DLC intact, hinting that the special pre-order bonuses and costumes may also be included in the remaster given that players will no longer be able to acquire them in any other method.
The prices for "Batman: Return to Arkham" convert to roughly $56.91 USD and the report states that this means it is likely to be sold at the full retail price of $59.99 when it launches in North America. This is the same price charged for brand-new games upon release, although fans speculate it will see a price-drop more quickly than most games given it is a remaster and not a new entry or remake.
According to the report, the image also confirms that the game is set to launch on June 10. It is also stated that Warner Bros. Entertainment will announce a brand new IP during E3 and then present "Batman: Return to Arkham" for fans to play until their brand-new IP launches by the end of the year or in 2017.
"Batman: Return to Arkham" will see Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill reprise their roles as Batman and the Joker, respectively, and is also stated to feature better graphics and a smoother framerate.
