Batman: Arkham Knight, the final game installment to the Arkham Trilogy by Rocksteady, has finally launched.
The game series has been immensely popular with epic trailers made to introduce the final installment. Now, fans have finally gotten their hands on the big game, and many have expressed their delight at what they've experienced.
For instance, one Twitter user @Escoblades wrote "Arkham Knight is a pretty game. Getting back into that combo flow, which thankfully hasn't changed too much from the previous games."
"Oh my gawd.. Almost in Tears right now from #BatmanArkhamKnight ... Wooow!" writes @Mrsviolence.
The game may have made a grand launch but unfortunately, it has come with several issues for PC users; some gamers have been left disappointed at how the Batmobile performed in the game.
Rocksteady is aware of the major issues, but there have been no specific updates released yet. A statement on the official website says that the problems are something that developers are taking very seriously.
"We are working closely with our external PC development partner to make sure these issues get resolved as quickly as possible," the announcement by community manager CODA reads.
Meanwhile, some of the PC problems users encountered include crashes, a frame rate drop of 10 or more and capped frame rates.
One notable issue found in the game is the frequent "stutter" and audio problems while exploring the open-world, as reported in IGN.
The optimization problems are the primary reason why the game has gotten negative ratings on Steam.
IGN reports that they have already contacted Warner Bros. for any information regarding a game patch. Until then, fans might just have to wait until further updates are posted.
