It is no surprise that "Attack on Titan" will get another season, which is expected to premiere sometime in 2016. However, rumors suggest that when season 2 arrives, it will be the last of the hit animated flick that fans will get to see.

Kawakubo Shintaro, the series editor for "Attack on Titan" manga spoke to Antenna Magazine and revealed details about the animated series. According to Shintaro via the Nerdist, "Attack on Titan" will have three years-worth of stories.

Reports then suggest that once all chapters have been covered, fans will also say goodbye to the show.

Meanwhile, "Attack on Titan" spoilers are all over the Internet and should make fans all the more excited about the release.

Crossmap previously reported that "Attack on Titan" season 2 will focus more on the story of the 104th Trainees Squad as they fight against the monstrous Titans who have broken down the Wall Rose. Aside from this, the second season reportedly follows the story of the end of the king's reign as he is reputed to be a corrupt leader. Captain Erwin Smith will be behind the rebellion, according to the report.

There were also speculations that one of the fan-favorite characters of the show, Levi Ackerman, will meet his maker when season 2 returns. Crossmap gathered that chapter 73 of the manga series will tell the story about Levis' death.

Other spoilers previously revealed stated that season 2 will also bring a surprising story of how humans will be able to transform into Titans. Yibada also reported that season 2 will feature Kevin Ackerman attempting to devour Eren Yeager so he can finally get the Coordinate, or the power that allows an individual to manipulate Titans.

Moreover, the news portal mentioned that season 2 will also dig deeper into Eren's history.

"Attack on Titan" season 2's exact release date still needs to be confirmed, but 2016 is definitely a year that fans should look forward to.
