Thea Queen (Willa Holland) will meet "a handsome, charming, and witty" man who can make her forget the past heartbreak when CW's "Arrow" returns for season 4.

TV Line reveals that Speedy's new love interest will make an entrance on the fifth episode of the series. Alex, "a sharp and polished political consultant," will reportedly catch her attention, enough to say "Roy who?" If viewers will remember, Thea and Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) parted ways at the finale of season 3.

The ex-street criminal hightailed from Startling City after taking the fall for Arrow (Stephen Amell). That was the same time when Thea discovered she was actually the superhero's stepsister and Malcolm Merlyn's (John Barrowman) daughter.

Meanwhile, the season's main villain, Damien Darhk, was already introduced earlier. Neal McDonough will play the long-time rival of Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable), who desires to take the throne from him. Executive producer Marc Guggenheim told Access Hollywood that the new evildoer was molded from a different cast as compared to the other bad guys already seen on the show.

"Damien's not as centurion as Ra's, he's not as looney tune as Slade, he's not as noble as Malcolm Merlyn. He's pure evil. We wanted someone who was truly, truly malevolent. We've never done that on the show before. This guy does the wrong thing for the wrong reasons," said Guggenheim.

Aside from Damien Darhk, another new addition to the CW series was a vigilante named Sara Lance/White Canary (Caity Lotz). E! Online reports that the former lover of Oliver Queen/Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) would be introduced in the premiere episode.

Guggenheim revealed that White Canary would play a vital role in the first few episodes of the series. Although he kept mum about other details, many speculate that the character would be raised from the dead with the help of Lazarus Pit. White Canary was earlier killed while on a secret mission for "League of Assassins."

"Arrow" is set to return Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
