'American Horror Story' season 4 episode 8 spoilers: Will Ethel tell on Elsa in 'Bloodbath'?

"American Horror Story: Freak Show" is not keeping away from killings. In "Test of Strength," another slaying was perpetrated. This time, it was not the clown's nor Dandy's (Finn Wittrock) doing, but Dell's (Michael Chiklis) and his anger issues. The carnival strongman did it. If there's anything the beasty guy is devoted to, it's his promise to trick and kill. Amazon Eve (Erika Ervin) should have been the fatality in the episode, but Dell messed it up. In turn, his violence struck and killed Madam Petit (Jyoti Amge), whom he wrapped around a literal neck-breaking embrace.

In the upcoming episode titled "Bloodbath," one would realize that the carnage and disappearances inside of Jupiter, Florida is nowhere near the red light. Ethel (Kathy Bates) believes that the carnival owner herself, Elsa (Jessica Lange), has something to do with all these, too. That may be accurate. Kpop Starz recalls how the freak show manager sold off twins Bette and Dot (Sarah Paulson) to Dandy and his mother Gloria (Frances Conroy). While Elsa thinks she has everybody in the camp fooled with her claim that the twins ran off, Ethel and her son Jimmy (Evan Peters) know of her deceit. After Ethel's initial discovery of Elsa's "mercy killing" plan for Bette and Dot, and her unearthing of their impending doom in the arms of Dandy, possibilities are huge that she will finally let the cat out of the bag soon.

Speaking of mothers and sons, the episode will also show how "Gloria will make a last ditch effort to contain Dandy's bloodlust." Ever since Dandy discovered his so-called murder mission in this world (thanks to Twisty the Clown), this emotionally-challenged man has no plans of stopping the massacre in the carnival. In the upcoming episode, Gloria will actually try to stop her spoiled son's killing urges. The dilemma there though is her questionable success to pull off the stunt.

"Bloodbath" was written by Ryan Murphy and directed by Bradley Buecker. After a week-long hiatus to give way to the Thanksgiving holiday, "American Horror Story: Freak Show" will be back with more gore and slaughters on Dec. 3.
