Air Jordan 7 Retro Bordeaux release date, price details: Model rumored for launch soon

The Air Jordan 7 Retro Bordeaux (Air Jordan)

The Jordan brand looks to give sneakers fans all over the world another reason to rejoice with the rumored impending release of the Air Jordan 7 Retro Bordeaux model.

The rumblings online have produced a supposed release date that is as early as July 18, although it is worth noting that neither Nike nor the Jordan brand have actually confirmed the rumors, according to Latin Post.

Unique colors define this reportedly soon to be released shoe. It features a color combination made up predominantly of black and gray.

It then features a rarely seen red wine hue, the probable source of its Bordeaux name, combined with teal and gold to form a unique design that can be found behind the laces. That highly unique color combination evokes a retro quality that can be easily associated with Michael Jordan himself during his heyday. It's not just the colors themselves that give the shoe its retro look, as the very particular way in which the colors zigzag is also evocative of the late 80s to early 90s aesthetic that Jordan himself popularized while he was still playing in the NBA.

Completing the look of the shoe is a v-shaped portion at the heel prominently displaying the iconic Jumpman logo.

Originally, the Air Jordan 7 Retro Bordeaux model was released back in 2011, according to Bleacher Report. This newest release would be the remastered version of the original model.

The Air Jordan 7 Retro Bordeaux model will reportedly be available for $190 a pair. The shoes will also be made available worldwide, although it is unclear if they will also start selling on July 19.

Some lucky Jordan fans can also get their hands on the new pair of sneakers for free. Nike New York is currently holding an online raffle where the winners would be receiving the new pair of shoes.
