WWE rumors 2015: Candidates for mystery partner for Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose

The days are passing by and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Night of Champions will finally kick off.

Although the upcoming pay-per-view (PPV) is usually dedicated to the current WWE champs who will put their belts on the line, there are also a couple of matches that don't include any WWE belt but more of a storyline.

One, of course, is the one involving the tandem of Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns against the Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Braun Strowman). The card calls for a six-man tag match, but Ambrose and Reigns have yet to reveal who the third member is.

An earlier leak showed Baron Corbin as the third member but the WWE has since rescinded that and said that the WWE NXT star is not it.

Corbin would have been a good addition since he can certainly probably hold his own against Strowman.

Before Corbin, there were other names mentioned. Such included Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, Erick Rowan and even Reigns' cousin Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. But most of those names were shot down except for The Rock.

Then there are names like Kane and Chris Jericho as well who do have issues with the Wyatts. Other latest names added to the mix include that of Finn Balor and Samoa Joe.

JoJo did an interview with Reigns and Ambrose to try and find out who the third member is but apparently, the two didn't take the interview too seriously.

The names of the Great Khali and Savio Vega were suddenly mentioned but of course, in jest.

In the end, the two said that their partner will remain under wraps in what seems to be a mind game of their own against Bray Wyatt and company.

For now, the only lead is to fit a wrestler (with pose) on the card promotional poster. Don't forget, WWE Night of Champions will take place at the Toyota Center in Houston this Sunday, Sept. 20, 8 p.m. EST or 5 p.m. PST.
