It seems like the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is slowly tearing up The Authority as reigning WWE heavyweight champion Seth Rollins will be defending the title against "Corporate/Demon" Kane in the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view (PPV) on Oct. 25.

The feud between the two began when Rollins asked Kane's help last July to attack former champion Brock Lesnar.

Their attempt failed and led to Lesnar injuring Kane's ankle smashing it with the steel steps.

A frustrated Rollins then attacked a helpless Kane and targeted his ankle which led to him being out for nearly two months before returning at Night of Champions last month as Demon Kane.

Demon Kane chokeslammed Rollins after two grueling title matches at Night of Champions, with the first match a loss to John Cena for the U.S. championship.

Next night on Raw, Rollins was surprised to see Corporate Kane, and when the champ addressed what happened at Night of Champions, Kane does not seem to remember and said he was just coming back from injury.

That night after a match where Rollins was involved, Demon Kane started making his presence felt, showing up from a hole in the ring and dragging the champion towards it until they were both out of sight.

The next week Corporate Kane was attacked by Rollins with a steel chair and he again injured the ankle.

As Corporate Kane was set to be brought to the hospital, the ambulance that he was riding suddenly stopped and "Demon" Kane came out, headed to the ring, and chokeslammed Rollins who later ran away.

Leaving his title in the ring, "Demon" Kane grabbed the belt, stared at it and raised it above his head signifying that he wants the championship.

Because of the fiasco involving the two, WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon announced last Monday on Raw that Rollins will defend his title against Kane, who, if losses, will also be losing his job as Director of Operations.
