The longest reigning World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Divas champion of all time, Nikki Bella, is currently dating John Cena; but that did not stop Dolph Ziggler from expressing his feelings for her.

Ziggler and Bella were in a relationship a few years ago when they were still working in the WWE's developmental territory.

Now, Bella is with Cena, and it is well-documented because of the show "Total Divas" on E!

But in the finale episode of the show's fourth season, Ziggler was shown asking Bella during a Monday Night Raw taping if he could speak to her in private.

When Ziggler, Nick Nemeth in real life, had the chance to speak to Bella, he told her how he has changed and grown up.

Ziggler said he could give Bella children and a husband, which Cena is not really into as seen in "Total Divas."

After this, Ziggler tried to kiss Bella with the former Divas champion not allowing it to happen.

Following the finale episode, Bella tweeted, "Life can be beyond complicated. In this moment.... I say... Just follow your heart ❤️ Nicole #TotalDivas."

The fifth season of the show will likely open with Ziggler's conversation with Bella.

Now, because of what transpired on the show, rumors are spreading that this might lead to a Ziggler–Cena feud with the U.S. championship on the line.

But Ziggler is currently in a storyline which features him with Lana fighting with Rusev and Summer Rae.

Nevertheless, the possibility of turning heel and feuding with Cena, the current face of WWE, is not a bad idea for Ziggler, as fans have been requesting for the latter to have a big push.

Ziggler's feud with Rusev, which is for Lana's affection, is not having the warmest of reviews; but the WWE is still pushing through with it.
