The latest round of new characters added to the roster of "WWE 2K16" features a whole bunch of familiar faces from the World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) Attitude Era.

This time around, there are 23 new characters coming to the game; and interestingly enough, three of them are just different iterations of the same person.

As wrestling fans know, new roster additions Cactus Jack, Dude Love, and Mankind are all just characters portrayed by none other than the charismatic Mick Foley, giving the former World Champion increased visibility inside the game.

Also included in the latest round of additions to "WWE 2K16" are none other than Vince and Shane McMahon, according to IGN. Vince is, of course, the chairman of the WWE, although his appearance in the game will be as a playable character calling back to his rare stints in the ring during the Attitude Era. Vince's son Shane, another staple of the Attitude Era, will also be playable in the game, presumably with his high-flying moves in tow.

The faction, known as the Nation of Domination, will also be present in "WWE 2K16," with members D'Lo Brown, Faarooq and Kama Mustafa.

The rest of the new characters coming to "WWE 2K16" include Billy Gunn, Bret Hart, The British Bulldog, Christian, Damien Sandow, Haku, The Honky Tonk Man, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Jim Neidhart, Ken Shamrock, Paul Wight, Rikishi, Shawn Michaels, Vader and X-Pac.

With the latest batch of new characters, the "WWE 2K16" roster is now up to 100, with one more round of reveals coming next week.

In related news, Stone Cold Steve Austin, apparently, wasn't always the preferred option as the cover star for "WWE 2K16," according to Wrestling Inc.

The WWE was reportedly considering featuring Roman Reigns on the cover of "WWE 2K16," but they ultimately decided against it, citing the promotional possibilities with Stone Cold Steve Austin as the main reason for going in the now official direction.
