World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Monday Night RAW will remain at the Barclays Center in New York following SummerSlam 2015 which took place Sunday and "The Icon" Sting is rumored to be making an appearance which will be his first since the first RAW after WrestleMania 31.

According to PWInsider.com after a signing for the WWE in New York City, Sting was in an event in Chicago Saturday but flew back to New York City and will be showing up during the RAW taping.

Meanwhile, The Inquisitr reported that Bray Wyatt is set to be wrestling Sting in next year's WrestleMania.

The report also said that the original idea for SummerSlam 2015 was for Sting to team up with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to take on the Wyatt Family (Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan).

Unfortunately, it did not happen since Rowan suffered an injury (torn biceps) last June and is expected to miss four to six months of action.

Since Rowan was out, the WWE decided to pursue the match and it became a normal tag team match with Reigns and Ambrose winning over Wyatt and Harper at SummerSlam last night.

The Inquisitr added that it might be possible that the WWE will be going for the six man-tag match at the Night of Champions pay-per-view (PPV) which will be held this September.

If Rowan is cleared for action, he will be rejoining the Wyatt Family; and the match will happen next month.

All of this will be a great build up for a rivalry between Wyatt and Sting, which is expected to be concluded at WrestleMania 32.

The last time Sting made an appearance in a WWE show was at the RAW episode following WrestleMania 31 last March where he was defeated by Triple H.

Fans are still itching to see Sting face the Undertaker at WrestleMania, but that will not be happening anytime soon as the "Deadman" will likely have another match against Brock Lesnar following a controversial victory last night at SummerSlam.
