'Winds of Winter' release date mid 2015? Did George R. R. Martin finally deflect his distractions?

George R. R. Martin became one of the most sought after author after his stories were transformed into the HBO series, "Game of Thrones". Now, the much-loved author is on the move to create another expected best-seller in the form of the sixth installment of "A Song of Ice and Fire" titled "Winds of Winter".

According to Christian Times, the upcoming book will be stacked in the shelves in the middle of next year. This means that the new book is less than six months away from its big rollout. While this may sound as good news to eagerly waiting fan readers, it may also be too far-fetched. Martin has been very vocal in the challenges he encounters in wrapping up the book. The author has been very busy, as he has his hands full with interviews, tours and promotions that it became too difficult for him to work solely on "Winds of Winter."

Some diversions include his co-writing project with Elio M. Garcia Jr. and Linda Antonsson, "The World of Ice & Fire," a book that tells the tales of Westeros' past. In one of his promotions for the new book, he revealed his plans on penning one more book for his fantasy series, which is titled "A Dream of Spring." That is another literary gem in the works, which is always music to readers' ears. However, to get to it, he has to get past "Winds of Winter" and he plans to work on it full-time by skipping another writing stint for an episode of "Game of Thrones." Even so, Martin does not go by a deadline. Many may be growing impatient for the book, but they seem to have not retired in tolerating it. Fans have grown accustomed to waiting for years when it comes to Martin's books. Nevertheless, Martin is bound to produce writings that live up or even top avid readers' expectations. This leads to the reported inconsistencies of his stories. This seems to bug the esteemed writer, who blamed the blunders on "unreliable narrators" rather than his writing. The author believes people and their forgetfulness and imperfections are nothing but rational.

Spoiler alert! For an eventful wait, fans put their fingers on possible plotlines and twists for "Winds of Winter." A famous conjecture is the materialization of Daenerys Targaryen's revenge on Jhaqo and Mago in the book. For the gruesome touch, fans believe that the mother of dragons will do so by having them go through pure anguish before killing them. Fans also think that she will be royalty in "Winds of Winter" soon.
