Warren Barfield Set to Release Sophomore Album

|PIC1|Warren Barfield, Carolina-born singer/songwriter in the U.S., is set to release his highly-anticipated sophomore studio album Reach on March 7 with new label partner Essential Records.

Recorded in Los Angeles with producer Marshall Altman (of Marc Broussard fame), this new project is said to be grounded in soulful pop and captures the intensity of Barfield's signature concert vocals. Barfield penned all 10 songs with three co-writes including the first radio single “Saved,” co-written with renowned Country music artist Bryan White.

“This record is talking myself through the last year or two of my life,” Barfield notes. “It’s a lot of questions about things I’ve faced in the career and the business world, a lot of things I’ve faced in my personal life, things I’ve faced with my family. It’s just talking me through who I am and what I stand on.”

In support of the new record, Barfield hits the road this month with Shawn McDonald, playing intimate venues across the country on a 30-city tour. The tour kicks off March 3 in Brevard, N.C.

Warren Barfield was one of the most successful acts to break in 2003, with his self-titled debut delivering two top ten singles with “My Heart Goes Out” and “Mistaken,” along with being voted the No. 1 New Artist of 2003 by R&R Magazine.
