Barbie (Mike Vogel) and Eva's (Kylie Bunbury) lives may be in danger due to Big Jim's (Dean Norris) scheming in the upcoming episode of CBS's science fiction drama series "Under the Dome."

In "Plan B," Cartermatt reports that the councilman will devise another plan to destabilize Christine's (Marg Helgenberger) regime. Big Jim's "brilliant" strategy will apparently involve Barbie and Eva, and it will put all their lives at risk.

Meanwhile, a promo released by CBS for episode 9 shows that Eva is pregnant. Fashion & Style says it is safe to assume that the baby's father is Barbie. Christine calls the unborn child the future queen of the Dome, someone who is destined to hold great power. What will the birth of a baby bring to the turbulent situation in town? Is the offspring really preordained to rule the Dome? Also, it appears that the Dome's power supply is declining. With it close to shutting down, anything can happen. Is this part of Big Jim's machination?

Elsewhere, while the attention is centered on the game plan, Joe (Colin Ford) and Norrie (Mackenzie Lintz) will use the time to research on the Dome's "ultimate agenda." Hunter (Max Ehrich) will still be hard at work trying to contact the outside world. At the same time, he will dig for more information about Aktaion and its mysterious leader. The private corporation is still bent on harnessing the Dome's energy, and the others want to know what other plans they have up their sleeves.

Last episode, Christine convinced the townspeople that it was her who caused the destruction outside the Dome. She then ordered everyone to enter the tunnels and dig up amethysts, the Dome's source of energy. Joe and Norrie were also dragged down there to work. Unaware that his friends were forced to toil in the tunnels, Big Jim set up a bomb. When the blast came, Norrie's mother was trapped when a huge rock fell on top of her. The two had no choice but to leave her.

Big Jim was also facing some problems with his son Junior (Alexander Koch). Christine's hold on the boy was too strong and his apology fell on deaf ears. Barbie was also too far gone under Eva's manipulation that he dismissed Julia's (Rachelle Lefevre) entreaties.

Meanwhile, Christine had just declared an all-out war against Big Jim and his allies. As for Hunter, he was able to contact someone from Aktaion. A woman named Lily had already replaced him in his old position, but before she got to say anything useful, strange men came and captured her.

"Under the Dome" airs Thursday at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
