Barbie (Mike Vogel) will go on a dangerous mission to free Eva (Kylie Bunbury) from the Kinship in the upcoming episode of CBS's science fiction drama series "Under the Dome."

In "Love is a Battlefield," Cartermatt reports that Barbie will do everything in his power to save the mother of his child, even if it means risking his life. It appears that Hektor (Eriq La Salle) was correct in warning Julia (Rachelle Lefevre) that the infection that plagues Barbie was just in a dormant phase and could recur anytime.

Last episode, the head of Aktaion told Julia that once infected, there was no hope of getting away from the virus. It was there to remain in Barbie forever, and the brief respite it has given him would not last. Barbie snapped out of his dementia when Julia triggered something in his memory back in the woods. This caused him to be temporarily released from Christine's (Marg Helgenberger) spell.

He surprised Julia, however, when he told her that although the real him was back, he would not shy away from his responsibilities as a father. Against Julia's wishes, Barbie went back to the barn and there he saw Eva looking very pregnant. It was only days since she conceived a child, but it now looked like she's nine months pregnant already.

Julia remained hopeful that Barbie would return to her and join the Resistance on their fight against Christine. But when she and Norrie (Mackenzie Lintz) went to look for him, they saw Barbie and Eva holding hands and kissing. Is there really no hope now for Julia and Barbie? Will he be under Christine's control forever?

Meanwhile, also in episode 11, members of the Resistance will go all out to release their families from the therapist's grip. They have to race against time, as they are now aware of her plans for the Dome. Hektor will be enlisting the help of Big Jim (Dean Norris) and the rest of the gang to test a possible cure for the townspeople. Will the antidote really work?

As for Joe (Colin Ford), it looks like he is now on Christine's side in the battle. She will apparently share some shocking information regarding the entity behind the Dome that will convince Joe to work for her.

"Under the Dome" airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
