A new "Transformers" movie is on the way and rumor has it that the upcoming movie will offer viewers two storylines.

According to a report from Movie Web, voice actor Mark Ryan, who did the voices for Jetfire and Lockdown in "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" and "Transformers: Age of Extinction," respectively, revealed that the story of the upcoming movie dubbed as "Transformers 5" will take on two directions.

The first story will feature Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) working with the Dinobots to protect the planet from destruction. Of course, some of the Autobots will offer their assistance to the mission.

The second storyline will give focus on Autobot leader Optimus Prime, who sets out on a mission to locate the Quintessons, his ancestors and creators.

This led to speculations that Prime won't be returning to the fifth "Transformers" movie but would rather appoint his second-in-command Ultra Magnus to help protect Earth.

Magnus is said to be joined by new robots namely Blitzwing, Cyclonus, Red Alert, and Override, according to Gospel Herald.

The part where Prime went on a mission was teased back in "Age of Extinction." With this journey, the Autobot leader will eventually meet Unicron, who will reportedly become the villain for the upcoming movie.

In a previous report from Huffington Post, it was revealed that writer Ehren Kruger has been pushing for the introduction of Unicron, but there was a problem — the robot is too big and it needs to fit in appropriately in the story.

In addition, with Unicron's description, the writers need to find a way to let him appear very interesting onscreen.

Nothing has been set on stone and Paramount Pictures has yet to comment on these reports. So far, what's known is that the movie is set to be released in 2017 and that Wahlberg will be starring and reprising his role in the upcoming movie.
