Publisher Electronic Arts and developer Respawn Entertainment have already released the global trailer for their upcoming "Titanfall 2" sequel. However, the studios still have surprise treats for fans, as there is still a full reveal of the upcoming installment slated for June.

According to Venture Beat, EA is shifting its focus to getting "Titanfall 2" as one of the more popular franchises for the studio, after the "Battlefront" and "Battlefield" series of games. The company is already on promotion mode and it is said that "Titanfall 2" will have its own event outside of E3 to showcase the title.

Dubbed the "EA Play" event, it is suggested that Electronic Arts will be hosting the press event in London and LA and will not have a booth at this year's E3. This means that the EA Play event will highlight the roster of titles of Electronic Arts. Interestingly, while EA has no plans of overshadowing the E3 – one of the biggest annual events for the gaming industry – the company will set up its own event at the Nokia Theater, right next to E3 2016's LA Convention Center location. In addition, EA Play is scheduled for June 12 to 14, close to the dates on which the E3 will take place, on June 14 to 16.

In addition to having its own company-sponsored event, the launch of "Titanfall 2" is considered to be a big change for the franchise. When the original "Titanfall" was released in 2014, the first-person RPG was an exclusive title for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles. Now, it is confirmed that "Titanfall 2" will be a multiplatform game, as the studio hopes to gather fans across gaming systems.
