After sharing a kiss at the ending minutes of episode 6, Callie (Maia Mitchell) and A.J. (Todd Williamson) will again be on spotlight after getting arrested by the police in the new installment of "The Fosters."
In "Faith, Hope, Love?," the International Business Times reports that Stef (Teri Polo) will get a phone call informing that Callie and AJ have been busted by the cops while driving together. The show's promo also reveals that the Foster patriarch will decide that AJ cannot live in the house anymore as the whole "kissing/relationship thing" can jeopardize Callie's adoption status with the family.
Meanwhile, Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) will tell her adoptive parents that she wants to be baptized as a Catholic so she can be a godmother to her half-sister Isabella, Cartermatt reports. Now Stef and Lena (Sherri Saum) have a lot of things to consider on top of everything.
Last episode, the whole Foster family got together to celebrate Callie's 17th birthday. The party went off well at first, until Mariana saw that Wyatt (Alex Saxon) had come to join the festivities. Worried that Callie would know about their past hook up, Mariana told her their budding relationship while glossing over the fact that they were already intimate. She even bribed the birthday girl that she would share the expenses in buying her dream car and keep it a secret from their mother.
Although not happy about the situation, Callie said okay to Mariana. Later on, Lena pulled her adopted daughter aside and told her Callie was actually hurt about her and Wyatt, causing Mariana to break up with him. Wyatt then confronted Callie and told her everything. Devastated, she accosted Mariana and stormed out of the party.
Meanwhile, AJ and Brandon (David Lambert) got into a fistfight after the latter got AJ's phone without permission. AJ was apparently talking to his brother Ty behind everyone's back. Mike (Danny Nucci) then told AJ he could not stop him from running, but he was glad he was in communication with Ty.
After the party, Callie and AJ were left alone on the moon bounce, Jude's (Hayden Byerly) gift to Callie, and they shared an intimate kiss. Unfortunately, Stef saw the whole thing.
