Everyone knows how successful the first season of "The Flash" was and apparently, the complete season is not available on Blu-Ray and DVD. For those folks who want to revisit or get one as a collectible, the sets are expected to hit stores by Sept. 22 for the price of $59.98 for DVD and $60.10 for Blu-ray.
Now, if you do have any intention of getting one, you may want to look over at the pilot episode which was not reportedly shown. Why? Well, for one, it reportedly involves a deleted scene referencing to another Justice League member in Aquaman aka Arthur Curry.
The said scene involves detective Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) who goes hard at Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) for continuously chasing "urban legends." As Barry was about to defend himself, West stops him there by singling out how both of them ended up in a wild goose chase after a man who could allegedly talk to fish over at Amnesty Bay.
Obviously, only one hero comes to mind when talking about someone who can do such, and that is, of course, Aquaman. For the record, he also grew up in Amnesty Bay.
On why the scene was deleted is anyone's guess and for the ones speculating that Aquaman could be around the corner for The CW series, well, you can forget it. The CW doesn't seem inclined, at least for now, to come up with an Aquaman character. The earliest that folks could possibly see Aquaman is in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," which will hit theaters in March 2016.
While the DVD and Blu-ray sets of the first season of "The Flash" will be available starting Sept. 22, its season two is set to premiere on Oct. 6 in what promises to be a pretty interesting continuation of the adventures of the Flash against the meta humans.
