It looks like Bay (Vanessa Marano) and Ty (Blair Redford) will be back in each other's arms in the second part of season 4 of ABC's teen/family drama series "Switched at Birth."

The International Business Times reports that "a set photo" released by the creators contains a scene wherein Bay is in bed with her ex-boyfriend. It certainly appears that after her emotional break up with Emmett (Sean Berdy), Bay will seek solace elsewhere and find it with Ty. The two separated before when the latter joined the military.

During episode 10 titled "There is My Heart," Emmett blamed Bay for what happened to Daphne (Katie Leclerc). She was sexually assaulted by her ex-boyfriend while in a drunken state at a party. Bay felt that she was partly responsible for Daphne's predicament. When she shared her feelings with Emmett, the latter could not help but show his disapproval. They eventually broke up, leaving Bay devastated and confused.

In early June, actress Lea Thompson, who plays Bay's legal mother Kathryn in the show, told E! News how the separation will have "a deep effect" on the teenager.

"With Bay dealing with the fallout from her breakup, Kathryn always tries to keep a stiff upper lip and keep everyone moving forward with a lighter touch. She's going to move forward with her musical, but she's also going to get hit with a lot new drama," said Thompson, according to E! News.

Meanwhile, Screenfad reports that "Switched at Birth" will return this summer with shocking twists, which include family troubles, more relationship dramas and an unexpected pregnancy. Bay will continue dwelling on why her relationship with Emmett fell apart, while her legal parents will experience some financial issues.

Elsewhere, Daphne will try to get along with her life with Mingo (Adam Hagenbuch), but her friends' lack of enthusiasm on the relationship will dampen an otherwise happy scenario. Regina (Constance Marie) will investigate Eric's (Terrell Tilford) ex-wife and news that someone is pregnant will shock everyone.

"Switched at Birth" returns to ABC Family on Aug. 24 at 8 p.m. EST.
