Bay (Vanessa Marano) will find herself the topic of the school gossip in the upcoming episode of ABC's teen/family drama series "Switched at Birth."

In "How Does a Girl Like You Get to Be a Girl Like You," Cartermatt reports that Bay will be unsuccessful in diverting her attention to school works in order to forget Emmett (Sean Berdy). Believing that she will be doing herself a favor by signing up for a Spanish class, the teenager will be aghast to find that almost all the students are talking about her.

Apparently, her family's complaint on Tank's (Max Adler) supposedly taking advantage of her last season is now a public knowledge. The whole student body knows that this led to the establishment of the anti-harassment policy being implemented in school. Now under the spotlight, Bay has no way of getting the peace that she is seeking.

Meanwhile, Daphne (Katie Leclerc) is worrying that that her poor grade in Chemistry will affect her scholarship. On top of that, she and Mingo (Adam Hagenbuch) will have "a major difference of opinion" which will make her question if they are indeed compatible.

Last episode, Daphne was all in a dither about her new relationship. Her friends, however, were feeling the opposite. Travis (Ryan Lane) and Iris (Sharon Pierre-Louis) warned her that Mingo was a womanizer. Even if she did not want to, Daphne was also starting to see him in a different light, especially after they went to a club.

Bay, still broken hearted because of her separation from Emmett, decided to join her friends. Travis told her to shake off her ex-boyfriend from her mind and hit the dance floor. As soon as she did, however, she began having hallucinations about Emmett and Skye (Alice Lee) making out. This pushed her to see Melody (Marlee Matlin), with whom she vented out her rage and frustration.

As for the pregnancy issue, viewers now know that it was Toby's (Lucas Grabeel) ex-girlfriend, Regina (Constance Marie), who was carrying a child. Toby, however, did not know about her condition, as they have already broken up last season. The bad news was that baby was diagnosed with Down syndrome.

"Switched at Birth" airs Monday at 8 p.m. EST on ABC Family.
