Super Bowl commercial imagines what would happen if God's cellphone battery died

The Mophie 2015 Super Bowl commercial "All-Powerless" has been gaining major views on YouTube and has gone viral counting 1.5 million views to date.

The creative commercial, depicting the end of the world described in the Bible, was released on January 29 before the Super Bowl game. The commercial starts off showing locals in Africa experiencing snow blizzards, followed by scenes where all electronic devices seem to be all malfunctioning, news that there are hurricanes in Nebraska, and tsunamis happening in Paris.

Total chaos in cities is seen where a tornado sweeps animals and cars into the air, a Ferris-wheel rolls in the middle of the street, largescale looting takes place, and even a priest is seen stealing a flat screen TV while there is the strange sight of a man walked by his dog.

According to Inquisitr, the "all-powerless" Mophie Super Bowl ad title is a play against the Bible's habit of calling God, Christ, and Scripture "all-powerful."

The scenes definitely captured the attention of a lot of viewers, making them wonder why it was all happening. Finally, at the end of the commercial, an old African-American man dressed in white supposedly depicting God in heaven, is shown looking at his low powered cell phone saying, 'Gosh darn it,' he said.

"When your phone dies, who knows what can happen. Mophie. Stay Powerful. Visit http://www.mophie.com to find out how."

According to ABC News, the said ad is the first commercial on the list of Super Bowl 2015 commercials and one of the companies that had an early release before the game. Other Super Bowl ads that had an earlier release were the Snickers "Brady Bunch" Super Bowl commercials  with Danny "Machete" Trejo playing Marcia Brady, and the EAT24 Super Bowl 2015 commercial with Snoop Dogg — along with more serious ads like the Super Bowl domestic violence commercial in which a battered woman pretends to order pizza but calls 911 instead, according to reports of the Inquisitr.
