Still On The Fence On Who To Vote For? This Pastor Offers His Advice To American Voters

A lot of Christians in America are still undecided on who to vote as President this November since it's a tough choice between Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and his Democratic counterpart Hillary Clinton. For most people, neither of these two candidates holds any appeal.

But Dr. Jim Garlow, pastor of Skyline Church in San Diego, California, hopes people would still choose Trump. "The Democratic and Republican party platforms are as different as night and day, in my opinion, as far apart as evil versus good," he writes for Life Site News.

Garlow warns that the Democratic platform promotes a lot of things that are anti-biblical, while a biblically alert person would feel comfortable with today's GOP platform.

Granted, both candidates are flawed, but Garlow says he would rather deal with someone who is blatant and brash in his sinning rather than someone who is devious, cunning and deceptive. "Both are problematic, but one is easier to deal with than the other. If I were a pastor bringing correction to a parishioner, I would prefer dealing with a 'Trump-type' any day over a 'Hillary-type,'" he says.

Garlow says it's true Trump has a lot of sins in his past, even in the present. But he is slowly being surrounded by good people, and the pastor hopes their influence would impact Trump's leadership.

In comparison, Garlow does not like the people who are surrounding Clinton. Scandals just can't seem to escape the female candidate, and Garlow isn't pleased with her take on today's issues.

"Trump opposes globalism. Hillary thrives on it," he states. "Trump has moved pro-life. Hillary is pro-baby killing, and prides herself on that, and honors the organization — Planned Parenthood — that actually traffics human parts from dead babies whom they have killed. This is below anything we have seen since Nazi Germany. The gall of Hillary!"

Garlow adds that Clinton has a horrific track record as Secretary of State while constantly saying that "everything is fine" in America.

"America is near the end — morally, economically, militarily and, sadly, spiritually. There are very clear identifiable indicators — measurable ones — that America is no longer the world's leading power. That day is over. Hillary will hasten the final destruction. Trump could either slow that down — or possibly, with God's help — reverse it. Maybe," says Garlow.

Personally, Garlow hopes King Jesus would be elected as the next president of the United States. But until that day happens, Garlow says he hopes to honour his Lord and Saviour in the voting booth by choosing the right candidate who will carry out His mission.
