Steam 'Star Wars Day' sale details: price discounts for Star Wars game titles

 Steam Store

As part of the annual 'May the force be with you' event, Steam will be holding a Star Wars Day sale on 'May the fourth'.

The upcoming "Star Wars: Battlefront" title is still months away, to be released prior to the opening of the seventh instalment of the "Star Wars" movie; for most fans, though, they can't wait for the latter part of the year in order to celebrate. In addition, every fourth of May is tagged as a 'Star Wars Day', made popularized by a pun on the original movies' tag, 'May the Force be with you'.

To answer fans' calls, most major industry players are going to have a sale on different Star Wars titles. Steam, one of the largest game title services worldwide, will be having a 'Star Wars Day' sale that would last until May 7. Most of the 'Star Wars' titles are already put up on the Steam Store with their prices cut, and discounts vary but may go for as much as 77 percent off the original price.

Steam Store also has a bundle package of Star Wars titles. In the collection, gamers can get all the 'Star Wars' titles currently available, like the "Star Wars: Jedi Knight" series, two "Knights of the Old Republic" titles, and 'Star Wars: Dark Forces". In addition, players can get the chance to play out the different movies through several game titles, such as "Star Wars: Clone Wars". There is even a bundled collection of "Star Wars: X Wing" for gamers who wish to experience the space and aerial dogfights of the 'Star Wars' universe.

In the spirit of celebration, other games services are also holding discounted sales for other game titles. At the Playstation Store, players can get as much as 75 percent off 'Star Wars' titles, even including the "Angry Birds Star Wars" game.
