At the Star Wars Celebration event, the new game "Star Wars: Battlefront" was detailed. The team behind the game revealed its release date and general gameplay. And with the release of the game's full-length trailer, fans are treated with a glimpse of how the game will be played.

Drive different vehicles

For the latest "Star Wars: Battlefront" title, players can experience the high of the Star Wars world through the many different vehicles they can use while covering missions. For example, players can take on an AT-AT with a speedster, and vice-versa. Imperial soldiers can pilot the AT-AT to take out Rebel positions. The dog fights in the air can be experienced, too, as players can pilot either the Rebel's X Wings or hop on to Tie Fighters and engage each other in the atmosphere. Sadly, space dogfights will not figure in the game.

Play as different characters

In the new game, players can take on the roles of Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, or Boba Fett, as unlockable rewards for achievements.

The game's website says, "Fight as the galaxy's most memorable heroes and villains, like Darth Vader and Boba Fett. Interact with some of the most beloved characters from the original trilogy. Become the hero or villain of the battle."

Switch modes

Players can now switch between first- and third person as the game progresses, so that they can adjust which viewing mode is best for them. Mode switches are available for both single-player missions and online multiplayer gameplay.

As the game's website puts it, "Seamlessly swap between 1st person and 3rd person perspectives. Partner up with a friend in online multiplayer, share unlocks and have each other's backs on the battlefront. Fight for the Empire or Republic offline, solo or with a friend, in carefully crafted missions."

"Star Wars: Battlefront" will be released on Nov. 17 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and on Origin for PC.
