Details about the campaign mode of "Star Wars Battlefront 2" have just been revealed, and it looks like this setting will allow players to get in touch with their dark side.

The campaign mode is set to center on Iden Versio, the leader of the Inferno Squadron, an elite squad of the Galactic Empire. The team is comprised of pilots and commando units, and all are equipped with the best tech and gadgets available to the Empire. Throughout the game, Iden will be guided by a droid, which is attached to the back of her armor.

The game is set between "Return of the Jedi" and the events that transpired in "The Force Awakens." Iden's team, who witnessed the explosion of the Death Star, is set to seek vengeance against the Rebels for killing the Emperor.

Iden will not be the only playable character in the campaign mode of "Star Wars Battlefront 2." At certain parts of the story, players will also be able to control other characters from both the dark and light forces. According to Gamezone, Luke Skywalker and Kylo Ren will also be playable at some point.

Multiplayer mode, on the other hand, will include space battles, according to EuroGamer. Possible ships include TIE Fighters, X-Wings, and even the Millennium Falcon and Slave One.

The multi-player mode will also allow players to choose from four customizable Trooper classes, with abilities unlocked as they progress. Aside from the default Trooper, the heroes from the film series can also join in the fun. It was earlier announced that this will cover all "Star Wars" movies, which means that known characters from the series may just make an appearance, if not actually playable, in the upcoming game.

"Star Wars Battlefront 2" is set for release on Nov. 17. It will be playable on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows 10 PCs.
