Spain's Juan Carlos Valeron: "You Need God to Live"

|PIC1|Spanish midfielder Juan Carlos Valeron has won over 40 caps for his country. So what is it like to play for Spain?

Well it’s something special. Players like Raul and others players in the national team are well known right now in Europe, and in world football. It is a great motivation to be able to play with them.

Sadly Valeron misses the World Cup through injury, but he will be supported by his relationship with Jesus Christ, who he says is more important to him than football.

Well he is like food, which you need to live. Once you know God and you have a personal relationship with him, you need to be with him.

When there are moments when you forget him and you experience the bad times then you realise how much you need God, and he has to be in your life.
