It seems like the Seattle Seahawks found the answer they needed with their injury issues at the running back position and because of this parted ways with veteran running back DuJuan Harris.

Last Sunday in their win over the Baltimore Ravens, another great running back in Thomas Rawls went down for Seattle as he suffered an ankle injury that earned him a spot on the season-ending injured reserve.

As Rawls went out versus the Ravens, Harris replaced him and finished the game with 18 carries for 42 yards and fumbled.

Following the injury to Rawls, the Seahawks signed running back Bryce Brown for the third time this season and then decided to release Harris.

In a total of two games played for Seattle this 2015 season, Harris had 21 carries for 49 yards and zero touchdowns.

Following the release, the 27-year-old running back told Josina Anderson of ESPN, "I'm thankful. Going back home to my fiancé & kid. There are still teams that need a vet RB. Something will happen."

According to ESPN, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that star running back Marshawn Lynch is set to have rehab for his sports hernia injury and will need more time before returning to action.

This likely means that without Lynch, Rawls, and Harris, Brown will be taking the main duties at the position for the Seahawks when they take on the Cleveland Browns this Sunday.

Carroll stated in his press conference last Monday that having Brown back is great for the team since he has been training with them.

Brown will now be a crucial offensive piece for the thriving Seahawks who are on a four-game winning streak, holding an 8–5 record to rank second in the National Football Conference (NFC) West.

Following the Browns, the Seahawks will take on the St. Louis Rams and Arizona Cardinals before closing the 2015 season.
