Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. recently released its new set of gadgets and now, the latest rumor points to a possible plus-sized tablet from the Korean tech company.
According to a new report from Sammobile, Samsung will be making a large tablet that sports an 18.4-inch display and 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution.
The new tablet, which carries model number SM-T670, has a codename of "Tahoe" and its screen is large enough that it can be placed on and cover the lap.
Furthermore, the mega tablet Tahoe may reportedly come with a 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos 7580 processor, a 2 GB RAM, and an internal storage capacity of 32 GB that can be expanded to 128 GB with a micro SD card.
The device could also be powered by a 5,700 mAh battery. As for the camera, the report said that it could have a 2.1-megapixel front camera and a possible 8-megapixel rear camera.
As for the weight, there were no details shared but it's expected that it could weigh more because of its large size.
Sammobile also mentioned that there were no details on final name for the device or its possible release date, but the biggest online community dedicated to Samsung said that it will provide more details whenever it could get some.
Apart from the large-sized tablet, Samsung is reportedly working on a tablet that runs on a Windows 10 platform and carries an S pen.
These may be mere speculations and there's a possibility that such would turn out inaccurate. If the aforementioned specs are not impressive enough, there's also hope that Samsung could make a more interesting and awesome gadget.
News on plus-sized tablets are nothing new. As reported by Mac Rumors, Apple is said to be developing its own plus-sized device, dubbed as the iPad Pro, which could have a 12.9-inch screen.
However, if the rumors on a Tahoe turn out to be true and Samsung does indeed produce that kind of device, it would become one of the tablets that have the biggest screens available, much larger than those of standard laptops.
