Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 release date: next iteration expected September; device teased in leaked photo

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, the current model available Samsung

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is currently rumored to launch by this coming September, reports Master Herald. According to the post, the previous Galaxy Tab S2 launched in September and it is likely Samsung will follow their release trend and launch the successor this September as well.

It is important to note that previous models of the Galaxy Tab and all its variants were primarily launched in May to July. This trend ended when Samsung shifted their release window towards the latter half of the year, which is why the Tab S2 launched on Sept. 3, 2015 along with other Samsung flagship devices.

Further pointing out that the Tab S3 may be released as soon as this September is a Twitter post from Evan Blass of Venture Beat. Blass's post showcases what may be a leaked photo of the Tab S3. However, speculations are rampant that it is fake due to the proximity of the back button to the home button.

There is also the issue of Samsung launching an improved version of the Tab S2 just a few months ago. As some of the comments on Blass's post point out, Samsung would not have launched the improved Tab S2 if they intended to launch the Tab S3 in the same year.

A separate report from Digital Spy indicates that the tablet may be released one month early as there are leaks indicating Samsung will host an event this Aug. 2 in New York.

Master Herald reports that the Tab S3 may be utilizing an octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM for its base model and a very large battery to guarantee longer usage compared to previous models. It is also stated to come with 32GB and 64GB storage variants, with the option to expand memory with a microSD card.

The report also points out that the tablet may be coming with Android N already built into the device but this will still depend on the launch window for the new Android OS. Samsung has yet to confirm if the rumors are true.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
