Samsung Galaxy Note 5 release date, specs info: Device could be released September 2015

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is rumored to be scheduled for a September release according to the latest rumors making the rounds online.

According to PC Advisor, one reason why Samsung followers can reasonably expect the Galaxy Note 5 to be released around that time is because the company has made a habit of making that time of the year one of the most important ones on their calendar.

In years past, Samsung has routinely released their Galaxy Note models in the month of September and there appears to be no reason why the company needs to move away from what has been their habit.

Samsung has not chosen their September release dates accidentally, as many within the industry believe the company likes to debut their latest offering just slightly ahead of the annual Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin, a consumer electronics trade fair held in Germany.

A September release date also holds another advantage in that it gives Samsung ample time to properly advertise and prepare their latest device just ahead of the holiday season in most countries.

Not everyone within the industry agrees with the September timeline for the Galaxy Note 5 however, as some are predicting an even earlier release date.

According to Whowired, the Galaxy Note 5 could be released as early as July. The web site points to two distinct reasons why Samsung's latest offering could be out sooner rather than later.

The first reason is because the Galaxy Note 5 was well ahead of its development schedule, meaning the company does not need to wait until September. The other reason they point to is that Samsung is planning to launch Samsung Pay in July, and they point to the Galaxy Note 5's release as an excellent way to draw attention to it.

Regardless of the disparate release date rumors, one consensus within the industry is that Samsung will release the Galaxy Note 5 before Apple launches their new devices which are reportedly due out in October.
