Blake Coward has some claim to fame, and it's not just his being senior quarterback at Madison Academy in Alabama.

Coward is also Sadie Robertson's boyfriend of 10 months.

Robertson appears on the hit reality show "Duck Dynasty" with her family.  She has also participated in the past season of "Dancing with the Stars," where she finished second.

The couple met when Robertson's cousins, who attend Madison Academy, brought her to a softball game less than a year ago.

Since dating Robertson, Coward's Instagram followers have ballooned to more than 110,000. He is apparently also regularly swarmed by girls who want to take selfies with him.

Reflecting on the attention he gets dating a celebrity, he said: "It's definitely weird. It kind of happened all of a sudden; it didn't happen gradually. As soon as we started dating, it just kind of hit me," AL.com reports.

Coward's teammate Malik Miller said, "Blake is 'Superstar' ... After games, the other team's girls are trying to tackle him to get a picture."

Despite his popularity, Coward has remained the same, said his co-players.

Another teammate, Kerryon Johnson, said, "He's blown up over the last year or so, but it never got to him. He came out here every Friday and did his job. I never felt like he thought he was bigger than us."

When asked about her boyfriend, Robertson has this to say about Coward: "[He's] like a part of the family. We're always together. When I'm in Louisiana, it's a seven-hour drive away, and when I'm in LA, it's more like 32 hours."

The "Duck Dynasty" star added, "We're best friends. He's a great guy who really has a heart searching for God. He's not perfect but he strives to be, and that's all I can ask for. He's really good at being kind."
