A college student will find too late that having a tad many girlfriends can cause his death in the upcoming episode of "Rizzoli & Isles" season 6.

In "Love Taps," Cartermatt reports that Jane (Angie Harmon) and Dr. Maura's (Sasha Alexander) investigation of a murdered coed will lead them to a "shocking" detail — the deceased had been juggling 32 sweethearts. The wonders of the Internet will continue to amaze the two, as they have to trace all the girls he was virtually dating. In the process of finding the killer, they will delve into the pseudo-world of app developers and cyberspace relationship, and learn something useful for themselves.

Fashion & Style posits that the murderer can easily be one of the girlfriends or a disgruntled boyfriend, for that matter. The app developers may also have motive, as they cannot possibly be ecstatic that a student was using their app for trivial matters. What is interesting, according to the website, is the possible exchange of digs between Jane and Maura about their own romances.

Meanwhile, Jane's former partner and surrogate father Vince Corsak (Bruce McGill) has an exciting announcement. He is now ready to introduce the new woman in his life to his colleagues.

Last episode, viewers finally understood why the show has not seen much of Maura's father. She and the other Dr. Isles have a fractured relationship due to his philandering years back. Apparently, he had an affair with his wife's best friend and asked Maura to lie for him. Even after so many years, Maura has not forgotten nor forgiven his sins.

Meanwhile, the troubling case of a famous Boston jeweler's death led to a path that was different from what the duo expected. After investigating too many suspects, it turned out that the killer was his secret lover and that she finished his life due to a simple tiff.

"Rizzoli & Isles" airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on TNT.
