Porsha Stewart fight with Kenya Moore: RHOA star could have charges dropped based on one condition

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" castmember Porsha Williams may avoid jail time after all. Kenya Moore is allegedly considering dropping the battery charge against her.

According to an anonymous source, all Moore really wants is a public apology.

"If Porsha publicly came out and apologized to Kenya and really and genuinely said she's sorry and meant it and said how she was wrong for putting her hands on Kenya, Kenya just might ask the charges be dropped," the source told Hollywood Life.

"She wants Porsha to know that what she did was extremely unladylike and foul and pledge she will never do such a thing again."

After being taunted by Moore, Williams sprung from her seat and grabbed her by her hair. Moore was then dragged by her hair across the floor.

After the assault, Moore called 911 and asked for police assistance.

"I've just been assaulted," she told the dispatcher. "She hit me in my head and was fighting me... hitting me."

Williams turned herself in to authorities April 16 after a warrant was issued for her arrest.

The reality star was charged with battery and released after posting a $2,000 bond. She may not see her day in court, though, if she complies with Moore's wishes.

Although she did not play a physical role in the fight, a source said that Moore regrets the brawl.

"Kenya feels that what Porsha did was way south of the border and that it casts the entire franchise and black women in such a negative light," the source told Hollywood Life.

"If she had to do it all over again she'd fight Kenya with her words. She's keeping a low profile for now and hoping for the best."

The fight aired on Sunday, April 20, as part of the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" season six reunion series. The next two specials will air April 27 and May 4 on Bravo at 8 p.m. ET.
