'Rectify' season 3 episode 4 spoilers: Daniel gets a visit from probation officer

Daniel comes to terms with the new restrictions being imposed by his plea deal in the upcoming episode of "Rectify." SundanceTV

A visit from his probation officer will spell bad news for Daniel (Aden Young) in the upcoming episode of SundanceTV's award-winning drama series "Rectify."

In "Girl Jesus," TV Guide reports that the unexpected call will push the ex-convict to realize how little his world has become after spending 19 years in prison. With the new restrictions that come side by side his plea bargain, it appears that finding work will take more than a while. In the meantime, all he is facing are longer hours of nothingness and boredom. Meanwhile, Ted Sr. (Bruce McKinnon) will invariably upset Janet (J. Smith-Cameron) and Tawney (Adelaide Clemens) will be pushed into admitting her painful secrets during couples' therapy.

Last episode, Daniel was still being hounded by Daggett (J.D. Evermore) for more information about George's death. Their conversation only raised more questions, though, which led the cop to pump Trey (Sean Bridgers) for leads. Trey painted Daniel as "impulsive and prone to violence," which certainly did not in any way help the latter clear up his name. To top it all off, Jon (Luke Kirby) felt betrayed after finding out that Daniel had been keeping truths from him.

Elsewhere, Amantha (Abigail Spencer) attended a Thrifty Town management seminar, where she met thoughtful businessman Forrest (Michael Vartan). He seemed to be interested in her and very much appreciative of her plight, considering the kind of family she has. Flattered by his attention, she chose to spend the entire day with him, instead of attending an organized karaoke night with other trainees.

Teddy (Clayne Crawford) was still trying to reconcile with Tawney, even suggesting that they see a therapist together. He ended up getting hurt, however, after learning that his ex-wife had already been going into therapy without him. Meanwhile, their father Ted, Sr. was getting tired fast of all the hang-ups that Daniel has been bringing to their family. Even with him outside the house, Daniel still continued to cause problems, especially between Ted and Janet.

"Rectify" airs Thursday at 10 p.m. EST on SundanceTV.
