'Pokemon Sun and Moon' release date news: New Alola forms and Team Skull revealed

Pokemon Sun and Moon The Pokemon Company

The Pokemon Company and developer Game Freak have released a new trailer for "Pokemon Sun and Moon." The trailer is three minutes long and it showcases several new additions to the game, such as the Alola forms of Meowth, Raichu and Marowak, three brand new Pokemon and the game's main enemies known as Team Skull.

Team Skull appears to be composed of gang members, wearing black and white Goth-inspired clothing and some punk-inspired designs as well. Team Skull grunts are showcased attempting to cause trouble. The team's leaders include their "big sister" Plumeria and the boss himself, Guzma.

As stated in a report from Polygon, it is hinted that Guzma is a failed Island Captain and he often refers to his followers as "rejects." Guzma is also stated to have some sort of history with Professor Kukui and the other island captains of the Alola region.

Marowak's Alola form is revealed to be a Fire and Ghost type combination, Raichu's is a Psychic and Electric combination and Raichu's speed doubles when fighting on an active Electic field and the third Pokemon with an Alola form is Meowth, changing from a Normal-type Pokemon to a Dark-type.

Wishiwashi is the first of the three new Pokemon revealed. While it may look like an ordinary fish Pokemon it later gains an ability called Schooling. When Wishiwashi reaches a certain level it can use the ability to call other Wishiwashi Pokemon to form a school, which resembles a much larger Pokemon.

The second revealed Pokemon is Pyukumuku which has the ability called Innnards Out. This ability appears to be very powerful but it also seems to be a self-destruct kind of ability as it also knocks out Pyukumuku in the process. The last revealed Pokemon is Morelull, a Grass and Fairy-type Pokemon with two possible abilities: Illuminate and Effect Spore.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" launches for the Nintendo 3DS on Nov. 18.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
