The imminent release of the cinematic video game "Planet of the Apes: The Last Frontier" is just around the corner. The developers Imaginarium Studios and FoxNext Games have finally announced that the game will be available later this month for the PlayStation 4.

In a report by IGN, only the release date for the PS4 has been revealed. Imaginarium Studios and FoxNext Games have not yet given out an announcement of when the cinematic video game will be hitting the shelves for the Xbox One or the Windows PC. The people at IGN were able to snag their own copy of "Planet of the Apes: The Last Frontier" when it was accidentally released on October. Since then, the game has been immediately retracted by the developers from the PlayStation Store.

The PS4 version is set to be packed with features. According to Dual Shockers, up to four players will be able to experience the story together via the Sony Play Link system by connecting their own controllers to a particular console, or through their the iOS or Android devices. For those who have pre-ordered the game, players will have access to an additional set of music tracks, as well as five different PlayStation Network avatars with no extra cost.

Being a cinematic video game, "Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier" is described to be similar to a game from Telltale Games, wherein the story is the main element. The game will take place between the "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" and "War for the Planet of the Apes" movies, wherein the apes experienced the most struggle in claiming and conquering the lands from the hands of the humans.

The game is set to have multiple endings, which guarantees replayability despite its two to three hour play through.

"Planet of the Apes: The Last Frontier" has an estimate price of $20, and will be available in the U.S. and in Europe on Nov. 21.
