Pinstripe Bowl 2013 Notre Dame vs Rutgers live stream: Watch online ESPN [TV start time, preview]

The Pinstripe Bowl 2013 takes place on Saturday with Notre Dame taking on Rutgers in what should be a fantastic match up between two highly competitive sides.

The game is scheduled to start at 12 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on the ESPN network. The game can also be watched online through live stream – free for ESPN subscribers – via the link provided below.

Coming into this game Notre Dame have had an 8-4 season, where as Rutgers have been a bit more mixed up with a .500 6-6 record.

Fans will be hoping that this match up will be a closer affair than the last time these two teams faced off against one another in 2002. That game on Nov. 23 ended 42-0 to Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. Rutgers will be confident that they can put on a better showing this time around though.

However, they must make sure their house is in order coming into this game. They have had a slightly sub-par season and they have lost three of their last four games, which resulted in Rutgers firing their defensive coordinator, Dave Cohen, among others.

They have been terrible against the pass this season, allowing an average of more than 300 yards in the air per game. That will have been noted by Notre Dame, and they will be looking to exploit that weakness on Saturday.

Notre Dame themselves have also been unsettled somewhat since the end of the regular season; their coordinators have both left to take on new head coaching roles elsewhere, and it will be interesting to see how they fare in their absence today.

The Pinstripe Bowl 2013 game will start at midday Saturday and can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
