An Eastern Conference collision is set Saturday at PPL Park as the Philadelphia Union try to continue their campaign for a playoff berth when they host the New England Revolution.

In their last Major League Soccer (MLS) match, Philadelphia ended a winless streak when they defeated Montreal Impact 1-0 at the Saputo Stadium.

The Zolos were unable to capture a win in their previous five MLS matches before the victory over Montreal suffering defeats against Toronto FC (2-1), D.C. United (3-2) and New York Red Bulls (3-1) which were followed by draws against Orlando City SC (0-0) and Chicago Fire (3-3).

In Philadelphia's win over the Impact, forward Sebastien Le Toux shined as he netted the game-winning goal in the 78th minute.

Now the Zolos look to continue the momentum and score back-to-back wins when they face the Revs who had a 2-1 victory last April in their first meeting in the MLS this season.

The Zolos are a point behind from the sixth place in the Eastern Conference as they have 27 points and a 7-13-6 record.

New England on the other hand will look to extend a four-game unbeaten streak and do a repeat of their performance against Philadelphia in their first MLS match this season.

Following a 4-1 defeat against the New York Red Bulls earlier last month, the Revs were on a roll in their past four MLS matches heading to their clash against the Zolos.

Since the loss, New England went 3-0-1 winning against New York City FC (1-0), Toronto FC (3-1) and Houston Dynamo (2-0) with the only draw coming against Chicago (2-2).

The recent success led to the Revs tying Toronto for the fourth spot in the Eastern Conference with 34 points.

The Revs are currently holding a 9-9-7 record and they hope that improves against Philadelphia.

The match between the Philadelphia Union and New England Revolution will be on August 29 at 7 p.m. EST and to watch via live stream click here.
