'Outlander' season 2 plot spoilers: Frank's return to bring trouble for Jaime and Claire?

Jaime and Claire in "Outlander" Starz

With "Outlander" season 2 expected to return to Starz in March or April next year, Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe) are now getting ready for more challenges ahead.

"Outlander" season 2, which is based on Diana Gabaldon's novel, "Dragonfly in Amber," will see the return of Claire's husband, Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies), causing possible trouble for the couple.

As Jamie and Claire head to France to stop the Battle of Culloden, Frank's return might cause a rift in the relationship between the two. Carter Matt said that their love for each other could be tested as they go through this situation, with them soon to have a child and all.

This issue was even intensified when Heugan recently made a statement in twitter that he plans to divorce Balfe.

Apparently, Heugan's divorce statement is not connected with Jaime and Claire's relationship but was a reference to a challenge the actor gave to "Once Upon A Time" actor Colin O'Donoghue. Heugan allegedly challenged O'Donoghue to wear a kilt and post the video on Twitter, which the actor did.

Balfe saw the video and commented that O'Donoghue wore it better than Heugan which led him to comment, "Divorce. No more 'Outlander.'"

Balfe, however, tried to make up for it by saying, "...but no one looks as good out of a kilt as you... anybetter? #oohdembuns."

Meanwhile, Black Jack's return could mean another opportunity for Jamie to come face to face again with Jack.

According to Christian Post, Black Jack who was presumed dead in season 1, could have survived and followed Jaime and Claire to France in the upcoming season. This could mean that Jaime will have another chance to put an end to Jack Black and finish him for good.

So far, with these information, "Outlander" season 2 is looking more and more interesting which gives fans of the show more reason to watch out for it when it finally premieres next year.
