 One Piece official website

Chapter 792 of "One Piece" could finally reveal to fans the identity of the much-awaited corrupt admiral in the series.

One of the more interesting parts of chapter 791 included Fujitora allowing the pirates to get away, but the decision is leading some to speculate that it may be leading to a big reveal of a potentially pivotal character in the series.

According to KPopStarz, the incident included in chapter 791 may lead to Admiral Ryokugyu finally making an appearance in the series. When the admiral might make an appearance is still currently unknown, but most fans believe he will show up once he appears in the headquarters.

Interestingly, a lot of fans are putting a great deal of importance into the possible appearance of Admiral Ryokugyu. One popular rumor currently making the rounds suggests that he may be a corrupt official and someone who may be set to make a monumental impact within the world of "One Piece."

For the most part, fans are buying into the Admiral Ryokugyu is corrupt theory because they see a void that needs to be filled within the "One Piece" world.

Fans have been told stories about corrupt marines populating the "One Piece" universe and it would not be a gigantic leap of faith to suggest that some of the high-ranking officials they listen to are corrupt as well. With that being the case, Admiral Ryokugyu is being seen as the prime candidate to fit into that role.

As for Luffy, the previous chapter ended with him lying unconscious on the ground with a smile on his face as Rebecca's tears fell upon him, but not much else is known about his fate at the moment, according to Venture Capital Post.

The heroic Luffy has certainly overcome a great deal of obstacles before, and the series has established that he is capable of coming back from the predicament he is in now.

More news about chapter 792 will be revealed when it comes out on July 2.
