Nintendo clearly wants the Switch to look and feel different from the other consoles in the market right now. It certainly has an innovative design, and according to GameStop CEO Paul Raines, the hybrid console has may have more to offer.

In an investor briefing call, Raines revealed (via GameSpot) that the Switch might feature motion controls.

"The Switch is a very interesting device.... A movement-related game is more fun for kids, you know, taking those [Joy-con controllers off] and then the master controller, you can really do a lot of interesting things with that in gameplay. I think it has tremendous potential as a game-changer. We'll have to wait and see. Like everything else in this industry, the consumers will vote with their dollars," he stated.

Motion controllers for the Switch make sense. The Wii and Wii U already have this feature, so why not the Switch as well. IGN has pointed out that the signs were there in the patent documents. Some Wii U games that utilize motion controllers are also coming to the Switch.

GameStop seems to think the Switch is going to do well, which is encouraging since the Wii U has been somewhat of a flop when it came out.

Meanwhile, Bethesda executive producer Todd Howard told Glixel that he tested the console at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) earlier this year and he happens to love it.

"One of the best demos I've ever seen. Probably the best demo I've ever seen," he said.

Well, that statement's not going to be taken lightly. And he just about confirmed that "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" is going to be available on the Switch. The game was already seen in the Switch announcement trailer, but it's good to hear someone from Bethesda talk about it.

The Nintendo Switch will hit the shelves in March 2017, so gamers will only have to wait a few more months before they can get their hands on it.
