The 2015 season of the National Football League (NFL) continues with Week 2 set to begin on Thursday, Sept. 17, when Denver Broncos visit the Kansas City Chiefs at the Arrowhead Stadium.
Both the Broncos and Chiefs won their season openers this 2015, beating the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans, respectively.
The game will feature the matchup of Denver's veteran quarterback Peyton Manning, who struggled against Baltimore, and the Chiefs' Alex Smith, who did fairly well against the Texans.
Week 2 will continue this Sunday, Sept. 20, with 28 teams to be in action, including defending Super Bowl champions the New England Patriots, who edged the Pittsburgh Steelers in their opener.
The Pats will be hosted by the Buffalo Bills, who also succeeded in their first game of the season against the Indianapolis Colts.
Buffalo will be facing a Patriots squad that is led by controversial quarterback Tom Brady, who played well against Pittsburgh having 25 completions for 288 yards and four touchdowns.
The top two picks of the 2015 draft will also be back in action on Sunday as number one overall pick quarterback Jameis Winston of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers look to bounce back following a subpar performance in their season opener, while the Tennessee Titans' Marcus Mariota also aims to continue his stellar game.
Mariota, who was 2015 number two pick, led the Titans against the Bucs last Sunday throwing for four touchdowns in his very first NFL game, while Winston struggled.
Mariota and the Titans will take on the Cleveland Browns this Sunday while Winston and the Bucs play the New Orleans Saints.
The Dallas Cowboys will also be seen this Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. It will be interesting to see how they will respond to the loss of wide receiver Dez Bryant, who will be out for four to six weeks due to a foot injury.
Bryant's foot injury was suffered in the third quarter of their season opener against the New York Giants and it requires surgery.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers played well even without wide receiver Jordy Nelson against the Bears in Week 1 and now will have a stiff test facing the Seattle Seahawks.
The Seahawks, who are eyeing their third consecutive Super Bowl appearance this season, where stunned by the St. Louis Rams in their season opener.
For the final game of Week 2 on Monday, Sept. 21, the New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts will face each other at the Lucas Oil Stadium.
