Newcastle United will continue their search for their first Premier League victory in Week 4 as they host Arsenal Saturday at St. James' Park.

The Magpies opened their Premier League campaign with a 2–2 draw against Southampton which was followed by a 2–0 defeat suffered when they faced Swansea City.

In their last Premier League match, Newcastle impressed but were still unable to secure the victory although they ended Manchester United's two-game winning streak with a scoreless draw.

Newcastle United manager Steve McClaren believed they could have scored against the Red Devils and was disappointed they did not.

"The defending and discipline was superb but we really could have nicked it - we had the chances but didn't take them," McClaren said, according to BBC Sport.

"We're far from where we want to be and there a lot of areas we need to improve on but we'll get better as the weeks go on," McClaren also said as the Magpies fell to 0–2–1 in the Premier League entering Week 4.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will try to get back on the winning track following also a scoreless draw in their last Premier League match against Liverpool.

Arsenal netted a goal during their match against the Reds which may have given them their second consecutive victory but it was waived off.

The Gunners began their Premier League season with a 2–0 loss to West Ham before bouncing back and beating Crystal Palace 2-1 in their second match.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger calls their 1–1-1 start this season as "very average" adding that sharpness is still missing for some players, BBC Sport reported.

Wenger also said according to the report, "Our game is still not fluent enough in the final third."

The game between Newcastle and Arsenal will be played on Aug. 29 at 7:45 a.m. EST (12:45 p.m. GMT) and will be shown on NBCSN/NBC Universo in the United States and BT Sport 1 in the United Kingdom.
