New York Yankees vs Toronto Blue Jays Live Stream: Watch MLB 2015 Baseball Online (Preview)

The New York Yankees won their second consecutive game Friday by ending the Toronto Blue Jays' 11-game winning streak in the opening game of their second three-game series this month.

New York earlier this August was swept by the Blue Jays in a three-game series held at the Yankee Stadium now the Yankees are looking to return the favor at Rogers Centre.

The Blue Jays were pretty much in control of the game having a 3-0 lead until the eighth inning when the visiting club caught up and were able to take the lead never looking back for the remainder of the contest.

Down 3-0, third baseman Chase Headley hit an RBI double in the top of the eighth inning to score first baseman Mark Teixeira.

The Yankees took the lead when right fielder Carlos Beltran ripped a three-run homer to give his club a 4-3 advantage which was enough for them to bag the win.

"As soon as I hit it, I knew it was going to leave the ballpark. It's a good feeling being able to come off the bench and come through and help the team win," Beltran said, according to the Associated Press.

The victory improved the Yankees' record to 63-51 as they reclaim the top spot in the American League (AL) East.

Meanwhile, Toronto is at 64-53 which is second in the AL East as they failed yet again this season to win a franchise best 12 straight games.

Earlier this season, the Blue Jays also won 11 consecutive games back in June but it was snapped by another team from the Big Apple, the New York Mets.

The series between the Yankees and the Blue Jays will continue this weekend with Games 2 (Saturday) and 3 (Sunday) to be played at 1:07 p.m. EST and can be watched via live streaming by clicking here
