The New York Knicks made some roster moves during the offseason and one of their additions was veteran guard Sasha Vujačić, whom franchise star Carmelo Anthony hated before.

Before playing for the Knicks, Anthony was with the Nuggets who drafted him third overall in the 2003 National Basketball Association (NBA) Draft.

Anthony guided the Nuggets to the playoffs in every season he was with the franchise and even made it to the Western Conference Finals in the 2008–09 season, but they were eliminated by the Los Angeles Lakers.

In the 31-year-old player's stint with the Nuggets, they played the Lakers a number of times and following their practice last Sunday, he revealed the hate he had for Vujačić, who played for the Lakers from 2004 to 2010.

"I hated Sasha. I hated Sasha. We got into it a couple of times," Anthony said through Adam Zagoria of SNY.tv.

He added, "He was one of them little dirty players, sneaky, grab your jersey, foul you after the play. He was speaking in his language and now I understand what he was saying to me — it makes me hate him even more back then."

But now that they are teammates, Anthony called the addition of Vujačić to the Knicks a "big plus" because of the Slovenian's feisty attitude.

"He's a vet. He knows how to play the game. He knows the system. I think having him is a big plus," Anthony stated.

Along with Vujačić, the Knicks also had notable additions in rookies Kristaps Porzingis and Jerian Grant, Robin Lopez, Derrick Williams, Arron Afflalo, Kyle O'Quinn, and Kevin Seraphin.

New York is undefeated in three games played this preseason and still has three more games in their schedule before they open the 2015–16 season.

The Knicks will begin their regular season on the road facing the Milwaukee Bucks on Oct. 28.
